I started Bass Clef Photography just over a year ago; when I decided to combine my love for live music and love for photography.

I'm pretty lucky.. I love great music of all genres and this has led me to shoot so many great acts already, from household names including Ella Eyre, Razorlight, The Feeling, Morcheeba, Newton Faulkner, Ocean Colour Scene and Sir Bob Geldof & the Boomtown Rats.

To shooting amazing local and emerging talents such as Land of the Giants, Moriaty, Antimatador, Alex Hart and  Haunt the Woods to name but a few.

I'm really fortunate that some of my images have already won a public vote in a competition on, and am  image of Ella Eyre won a national Nokia UK competition.

I was very humbled when I found out I had been long-listed in the professional category of the NME Music Photo Awards 2014 with another of my Ella Eyre images.

To be honest a major part of what I do is discovering the great new local talent that the southwest has to offer and I get to do this weekly. Mainly to fulfil my Feature called “In The Pit” for the Plymouth Evening Herald which showcases my images of a local gig each week.

I'm now looking forward to being part of the #S10 Collective as it opens up new opportunities for me to involve a great local brand with great local talent.
